The Winegard G3 satellite dish is now manufactured with a dual strength strut providing additional protection during bad weather conditions which prolonging its lifespan. It also provides smoother operation.
Installs into the same size hole as a Winegard TV aerial
Simple to operate. After you park, the LCD readout inside your vehicle shows the exact elevation of the dish to within 1°, even if motorhome not parked level. Raise dish with the hand crank from inside. Then rotate dish to bearing of approx 315-325 degrees. Usual set-up time within 1 minute!
Galvanized steel dish with white powder coating, base is cast aluminium.

We fit a lot of satellite dishes and have found that our customers prefer paying a little extra for a dish with the elevation meter which works even when the van is not perfectly level. Other cheaper dishes do not have the elevation meter and that makes finding a little satellite in a big sky quite difficult especially when you are in the bush -

I've had this on our van for about two years. With the exception of when I'm blocked by trees, etc., I love it! It's easy to set up, especially if you're by yourself. All you have to do is turn on your TV and receiver, elevate the dish and go from there. Normally, it takes me a minute to be up and running. -

This replaced the original antenna on the roof of our rv. It gives you the ability to set your dish up from inside the camper. No more lugging a dish and a bunch of cable around to get tv, just wind turn to the proper direction and watch tv -

I was new to satellite TV, and after watching many couples setting up their satellite dishes, I could see that the process had ‘divorce’ written all over it. My main criteria for selecting a satellite dish for our motorhome was that it had to be a quick, easy, one person job to set it up, and this unit is just that. From inside, I am able to raise, rotate, and tune in my dish in less than 2 minutes every time, all by myself. The most difficult thing about using this dish is finding north!
