More convenience - All Suburban Water Heaters are designed for easy installation, operation and maintenance. The limit switch and reset button are conveniently located in a housing behind the removable outer door. The electric heat element and combination drain plug/anode rod are also located there, making service a breeze
Longer Life - Heated water attacks all metals, but not porcelain. That's why Suburban uses a porcelain lined, steel water heater tank with an anode rod to "absorb" the electrolytical action - just like your water heater at home. The 'sacrificial' annode should be checked yearly. Usually last approx 2-3 years and then need replacement.
A remote switch that electronically ignites and controls the water heater.
Includes a 1440W 230V element. For higher recovery, both the gas and electric element may be used simultaneously this can give an additional 22L/hr.

We've has had 3 short trips in our new van which is fitted with this gas/electric heater. Like many who go the full shower/toilet setup we have not been near the shower block since. Early days yet but happy with the unit. The larger capacity allows me to shower straight after the wife and it has just enough capacity so no need to wait 15 minutes while it reheats.
