Honda boasts a sine wave power output equal to or better than your household power. Computers and power-sensitive appliances require 'clean power'. Clean power is electrical power that is consistent and has a stable 'sine wave' signal. If the lights or other basic appliances in your home were being powered by a generator and there was a fluctuation in the AC power, you’d probably see the lights dim and then return to full brightness — no problem! However, if your computer was being powered by a generator and the voltage fluctuated, chances are the computer would either shut down or at least interrupt the program you were working in.
In order to overcome this problem, Honda engineers have developed a revolutionary form of inverter technology. This process takes the raw power produced by the generator, passes it through a special microprocessor that provides ultra-clean power which is equal to or better than the current from your household AC wall outlet. Now for the first time, you can operate a computer or other sensitive appliances directly from your EU series generator.

if you want to pay top dollar and have the best generator ever this is the one
i use it for all sorts of crazy adventures and it loves it always starts easy and has awesome start-up load handling ability so it will run larger machinery than any other 2000w generator i have used very economical and reliable i highly recommend -

But there really wasn't any. I already owned a generator which was not suitable for carting around in an RV. That beast is always hard to start. Last weekend I started the Honda for the first time in about 4 months, only took half a dozen pulls and away it went. I normally start it once a month and usually it goes first pull then. -

We have had our EU20i for over three years now and never had a problem with it. Like others have said an easy starter, low noise. It is not "no noise" so we still consider others when we do use it. We carry it mainly as a back up for when the sun doesn't shine and the panels don't keep up. Also use it at home from time to time when we have a power outage and have an "important" TV programme to watch. -

Had our Honda Generator EU20i for 4 years and no problems at all. We use to recharge the batteries during winter after an outing. You know will start after being left for months without being used. -

This is my first generator I've ever bought and have no regrets. It provided the necessary power while free camping , with little noise, and easy to start.
